OK aye, but not a destination
By user-6460236... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-05-17 to 2016-05-18
Pluses -easy to find, just off of I-29, at exit 53. Close to restaurants exits 50 and 47. Free catch and release fishing if that's your thing. Full hookup (share a electric pole with your very close neighbor) ours had one 50 amp, and one 30 amp. Sites were level and gravel. Good Sam's rate is less than $30 per night
Minuses - I-29 road noise if you are not well insulated. Access to the park is 1/2 mile down a very pot holed gravel road. You are very close to your neighbor.
It's fine for a overnight camp, and worked well for us after 300 miles in the rain! We stayed here in a 5th wheel

The reviews are deceving!
By user-6132378... on 2017-10-23.
The 3 reviewers probably didn't get stuck in the long stay section like we did. J F would have left this place like we should have!
If you are fortunate to get a sigh close to the office or main house consider yourself lucky, if they want to put you in long term LEAVE!!!!! The rv next to us hadn't been occupied for several months but yet the grounds ppl still hadn't cut the weeds around the unit. There is no specific way of parking so we got stuck facing a run down unit that was occupied by 4 girls under 14, man and woman, not sure of the relationship. Each time we came back to our site I'd have to move their bikes.

Highway Noise
By user-5851491... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-03-15 to 2016-03-16
The staff are fantastic but the entrance road is all dirt (read mud) and the highway sound is awful. We won't stay here again.

Nice Place

We've stayed here several times. We modify our trip when we're traveling thru an area to stay at campgrounds that we know are good. This is one of those campgrounds. We drove a couple of extra hours last night to stay over here pn our way East. When we got here at 9pm the sign was still on and the mgr was right there to check us in and lead us to our site.
The bathrooms are always very clean and the modern tile floors and showers are private and have lots of room to dress in private. You'll like the pond and shade from the trees and the quiet.
Happy Regulars, Dale and Judy

Did not honor reservation
By user-5209859... on 2017-10-23.
Had reservations for two nights. We were visiting our daughter in Maryville. Apparently someone wanted a spot. Our reserved spot was the only empty spot, so they sold our reservation out from under us. Not sure what there game was, but we didn't appreciate their failure to honor a reservation. It was 10:30 at night and we didn't have a clue where we'd be able to stay. Fortunately our daughter ran out to the Mozinga State park campground just outside Maryville and found an open spot. That was a beautiful park. Forget AOK. So very disappointed, but no thanks to them we had a beautiful place to stay much closer to our daughter.

Great place to stay

Stayed 2018-04-02 to 2018-04-03
This was a little off the beaten path with about a 1/2 mile of unpaved road to get to the campground but it was definitely worth the trip. It is located close to the interstate but no traffic noise and there were two really cute ponds. There were beautiful trees. The owners were very friendly and seemed to be working hard to make a very nice park. We left a surge protector and they called us a couple of days later and offered to mail it to us!

Nice campground
By user-4594781... on 2018-07-06.
We stayed here for one night on our way west. Nice campground. Backs up to a nice pond. Bathhouse and laundry in the basement of the owner’s residence - no issue there. Kid friendly,

Clean and easy over night stop
By user-6684413... on 2018-07-06.
Stayed 2018-06-07 to 2018-06-08
We stopped at AOK for an overnight stop on our way to Yellowstone. We called ahead for reservations. The owners were friendly and accommodating for our late arrival. The restrooms and showers were clean. The park was easy access from the interstate. There is highway noise, but it didn't bother us sleeping inside our rv. All the sights had easy access and were pull through. We would stay here again.

Originally pulled in for an overnight. Check engine light came on truck. We did get to the Ford dealer and they did a rush repair order to get us running again. The owners were able to accomadate us for 2 additional nights. Very clean well organized park with all the amenities including 2 fishing ponds. Would recommend this park.

Wasn't AOK for us
By user-5729521... on 2019-08-09.
The couple that own and manage the CG are friendly and very helpful. The pool and laundry are nice looking but we didn't use either. The sites are level with shared hookups. The interstate noise can get very intrusive, especially when the semis use their Jake (engine) brakes. The road in is only about half mile but it is really crappie. It is unpaved, barely a lane and a half wide and rutted. Wouldn't want to drive a RV on it after a rain. You might want to use OFF. We got a couple of no-see-ums in the RV and the wife ended up with a dozen bites on her arms and legs. Never again!

Good Campground

The owner was nice, the spot was level, power supply was very good, and water was fine. You will need a pressure regulator. Grounds are kept near and clean

Stayed here one night, headed to east coast. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Really pretty with trees and a pond, pool and showers which we didn t use, only noise I heard was the singing of birds and croaking of frogs how awesome is that! Would definitely stay here again, would highly recommend.
