We came here for the long Labour Day weekend, and were surprised and totally pleased to see the Park Fee waived, score!! As we didn't have reservations, we were placed in "overflow", in Sage Loop, which was beautiful !! Remote and quiet and treed in, total privacy from the other campers around us. The next day we switched over to Vesper Loop, for a powered site, which was just as nice a lot. This park has it all: beautiful treed lots, privacy to all the campsites we witnessed, the staff was totally friendly. Tonnes of hiking & walking trails, Biking trails (both on/off road), and even a beach ! And all totally affordable, except for the firewood ($9 / bundle!), with a store/laundry in the middle of the lot. Loved it here, would def come back. very close to the city (Winnipeg) this makes it VERY popular for a quick weekend get-a-way. Making it VERY BUSY.
