| Beautiful COE park

Amazing views of the lake. Nice beach to have sunset walks on. We only stayed 1 night. Wished we could have spent a longer time! Hope to visit again!!!

| Beautiful lakeside site

Went in the middle of the week and plenty of sites available. We have an America the Beautiful senior pass and our level site was only $10 with electric and water. Restrooms and showers were clean and very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

This park is a nice escape from Memphis. Not too far, clean, fairly quiet and spacious. Good park for kids and dogs as well. Bring your bikes!

| Our first camping experience

We went to Arkabutla to test our new travel trailer and it was close to Southaven. We arrived around 3:00pm on Friday and had no issues hooking up or getting into our spot. I'm guessing Hernando point was about half full and everyone was very friendly. The two things that I didn't care too much for was the lack of water pressure and I'm not sure if it was just our site and the water was still somewhat high and some trash had washed ashore. I guess since the lake is over 11,000 acres stuff like that happens. Overall, we had a very relaxing trip and will go back at some point.

| Verizon beware

Very pretty park and lake. We stayed here in December at a site on the lake and had good Verizon reception. This time, we were away from the lake and had zero reception. Had to walk down to the lake to make a phone call. Apparently, AT&T works well throughout the park, but Verizon only works in direct sight from the other side of the lake. Spacious sites, decent showers with temperature control.

| Very Clean & Quiet

This is by far the best place to relax. Bathrooms & Showers are clean and fresh. They look old, but they are spot on. Rangers are very friendly and love talking with the kids. There is not one bad campsite in the entire park. They are spread out with room to move and are easy to get in and out of.

| Nice COE Park

This park is located approximately 20 minutes off the Hernando or Coldwater exits of I55. That makes it a nice one night stopover if you are traveling through the area. The campground is on the lake with a wide variety of campsites. All but one of the sites are back in. I have never seen the park full so reservations are not needed. The sites are typical COE with decent spacing. Restrooms are older but kept in good condition. There is a dump station well situated as you leave the camping area. Recommend that you fuel and shop in Hernando where there is a Walmart and Murphy Oil just off of I-55.

| Beautiful COE Park

This was our first real trip out in our new trailer. We did do a one-nighter previously at Meeman Shelby State Park. Our site (site 43) didn't have a clear water view but that did not really matter. The site is a back in spot with plenty of room for our tow vehicle. Spot 44 next to us was 56' long for any of you fifth wheelers. This campground is only 40 miles south of midtown Memphis which makes it very convenient for us. We'll definitely be going back!
