We made this original reservation as an alternative to the national park. We are so glad we did. The owner used to work for national park and he and wife developed this campground as their dream park. They take much pride in maintaining a warm friendly atmosphere and well kept facility. Very dog friendly without affecting the quiet of cabins and other campers. They also serve as a tour directors graciously providing information on local happenings and directions to the many things to see and do. We loved the strategic location to most of the island offerings. We especially liked the wooded campsites for the privacy and restfulness we needed at this part of our journey. We would stay here again. You will need a reservation as this place will become more popular.
