Our first trip in our first RV! Looking forward to returning next month! Nice size sites with plenty of trees. Very clean rest rooms and showers. Very close to a Walmart! You won't be disappointed!

Nice, clean and they had very reasonable full hook up rates. Will definitely return when in the area. Sites were mostly level gravel pads with concrete area for picnic table.

We only stayed one night, on our way home, but we thought it was exceptional. Clean, friendly staff, flat sites, concrete patio, pool, rv/car wash, propane fill, well stocked camp store, very good location, close to everything. We only live 100 miles from here and we have camped in several different camps there. We are only sorry it is not on the trolley schedule because we do not tow. We will either have follow with our car or rent a car there. We are in a 37 ft class A.

I put 4 stars in my previous review back on 7/24/16. I would like to change that to 3 - 3.5 stars. River Plantation was stop #1 of 3 on our journey, after staying at other campgrounds (another one in the same general area) I chose to bring it down a 1/2 a star or full star. This is based on gravel pads vs concrete. Most if not all are gravel with exception of permanent sites. Lay out of the park. Pool/game room/playground/cleanliness of bathrooms/size of sites. I just didn't realize what else was out there in the area. This is still a nice campground but I can't give it a full 4 stars.

| Great place for the family

Very nice, well kept, maintained camp site. The rv spots were nice and level with convenient hook ups. Our 3 year old had fun at the little park and swimming pool area. The only downside we did encounter was that we were not able to pick up any wifi signal in certain areas but there was so much fun stuff to do we didn't need it. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This has to be one of the nicest parks we've visited. Friendly staff, nice size spots, full hookups, great water pressure, very well maintained. Showers are spotless, roomy, with plenty of hot water. There is a nice fitness center onsite, but also ample areas for walking throughout the park. Excellent value at the Good Sam rate of $35.50 per night. The location is convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! We stayed four nights in early November.

Nice size lots and all sites are easy to get in. Staff is very friendly and helpful when making reservations.Have stayed there several years and always pleased.

Stopped here in the busyness that is Pigeon Forge, and as far as big resort parks go, this is it. It was probably the biggest park we've ever stayed in. The lots were nice and level, lots of amenities and it's truly close to everything. We toured Pigeon a Forge and the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail (must do!!) from here. | Good Park & Nice Location

This was our first time staying in this area so I was a little worried about finding a good campground. This campground is in an excellent location, close enough to everything yet far enough away not to be caught up in all the traffic. And yes there is A LOT of traffic. Nice level sites. Good wifi for those who care. Great cable choices. We chose a site by the river, I would suggest you do that as you get a lot more room & you can fish in the river. The only negatives are the size of the pool area (too small for a campground this large). And cleanliness of the pool water. I realize it may be tough to get the water balanced with sooo many people swimming but they could add some chemicals to balance it out & vacuum the pool. BTW - the lazy river is smaller than the pics would elude too. All in all this is a good campground with nice amenities.

Stayed here in early June 2018. Had an rv lot that backed up to the river. Surprisingly, no mosquito bite experiences. For some reason, rates only include 2 people. Any additional folks will need to pay extra. They also made having guests very easy. Very clean office and swimming pools. Love the location... Convenient to everything! Would stay here again.

Sitting on a "signature site" on the river (stream) listening to very loud garbage or dump trucks all morning so far. Did I pay "extra" for this? Hmmm.
