This is the best campground in Seward if you are looking for a great view of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding mountains. It's a great place to watch the boats/cruise ships come and go. As for the campground itself, it's pretty typical of campgrounds in Alaska. Basically, it's a parking lot. We did not stay in the section with the electricity and water, so our cost was only $15. Some sites are a little tight, some are huge. Make sure you check the entire park before deciding on a site. Our site was very level. We did not have a picnic table, but did have a firewring. We were on the hill and could see the bay perfectly even though there were two rows of campsites below us. The campground was very quiet despite the fact that most of the sites in our area were full. The city comes through and makes sure trash, tree limbs, etc. are picked up. Also, if you decide you want to change sites after you've paid, all you have to do is move, provided you registered with your license number. We would definitely stay here if we came to Seward again.
We stayed 2 nights. First without water and electricity $20.00 and 2nd incl. $40.00. (RV 5 pers.) With mountains and setting at Resurrection Bay campground is great. Small places, restrooms okay, showers $ 2.00 (bills no coins)
