Pretty good CG
By user-5289026... on 2017-10-23.
Owners on site and very accommodating. Sites level, some have cable. Bathhouse ok, but not spotless. Some sites have really great views of the bay. Would definitely stay here again. It's very quiet at night.

Nice CG
By user-5289026... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed here 3 days and park was centrally located for what we needed. Owners are on site and nice. Our site was very level and one of a few that had cable for a few $$ extra-worth it. Some sites have great views of the tidal coves and surrounding waters. Being out in the the country by just a few miles, it was really peaceful and quiet. Would stay here again. Facilities could stand some TLC but still useable.

Not pristine, not fancy, but just what we were looking for. Price is very reasonable. We stayed one night and it was so quiet. Wifi was excellent

We stayed here on our way back from Canada. This is a very clean, quiet RV park with widely spaced sites. Its situated on a tide effected river, very pretty
Worth the stop.

What a pleasant surprise. Nice small RV Park. The owners are so nice. We had a problem with our reservation and they went out of there way to help us out. We loved the fact we could borrow movies. And they were good ones! Our site was fairly level. No need to use boards under our wheels. They have some spots that look into the river. Watching the tidal movement a nice addition. There is a lovely short walk around he point with places to set and enjoy the water. Good bathrooms but a little old. One washer and one dryer but only $2. Each. A bargain. We made day trip to Bar Harbor and Banger. Route 1 Drive was lovely. This camp ground is quite and friendly. A lot of those we talked to had been here many times. Don t take route 183!!!! To get there as your garin will tell you. It is a horribly windy very very bumpy and narrow.

This is a great little Campground right on a beautiful Inlet of water. The sites are spacious, and they have a trail that follows the shoreline. The owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating... He'll even cook a lobster and bring it to you for your dinner. Bathrooms are extremely clean and well maintained. We liked it so much we extended our stay!

Awesome views! Trail along the shore with benches to enjoy time. Older property, but well loved and cared for in all areas. Sites are spacious and level. Owners really keep the property in top shape. Clean restrooms and grounds. We will definitely return when in the area. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Trusting and down to earth. How refreshing! All of our fellow campers were thrilled that they discovered this hidden gem. Don't pass up the opportunity to stay at Sunset Point. You won't be disappointed!

Well-maintained, family-run campground

We spent two weeks at Sunset Point Campground in Harrington, ME in our 39 fifth wheel. We stayed in a long pull-through site that was more than long enough for our fifth wheel, tow vehicle and a car. The site was quite wide and had shrubbery between neighboring sites for even more privacy. Each site has a picnic table in a roofed pavilion. The pull-through sites do not have sewer hookups but mobile sewer pumpout is available for $10. The campground is on the edge of a bay and there is a well-maintained trail that runs along the water, with benches in several places. The owners are very friendly and keep the campground very tidy. We didn t use the bathhouse but the laundry room was clean, although with only one dryer and washer. This is a small campground and does not cater to seasonal campers. The campground has a small playground and horseshoe pit. The owner offers lobster for sale at a very good price, either live or cooked. We had cooked whole lobsters twice and they were delicious. Harrington, ME is a very small town but it is within an hour of a lot of sightseeing spots in every direction. We recommend this campground and would return.
