Nice Park, would stay there again
By user-6078441... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-06-08 to 2017-06-12
Lots of grass to walk the dogs. Clean bathrooms and I never saw a line for the mens room. Each shower room also had a toilet. I didn't hear any road noise, seemed like no one used that road while we were there. Lots of trees and shade. The only small bother was the watering of the grass by my coach, of the four days I was there it was watered a lot each day. Seemed excessive to me as it was maybe 6 feet wide and 40 foot long. They were deep watering so watering it over and over seemed odd.

Very Pleasant RV Park

This park is one of those nice little gems of a RV park. We only stayed a single night but this park stands out as one of the nicer ones we were at during our Utah National Park family vacation.
Beautiful, level sites with meticulously maintained grounds and lawns. Bathrooms/showers were very clean and no issues with the FHUs. It was very quiet on our 1 night stay even though the park is situated next to a major road/Hwy.
If in the area, I would definitely stay here again! Nice place.

Real Gem
By user-5226683... on 2017-10-23.
What a CG in a small town. Long, level pull throughs and large level back in. Owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. Facilities are really clean. Capitol Reef NP less than 10 miles away. All American Scenic Hwy UT 12 at entrance to CG. It's a fabulous drive. Lots of grass and fruit trees. Would stay here again without question. Actually hated to leave and that doesn't happen often. SEVEN stars if they had it

"Excellent Stay"

Were fulltime RVer's driving a 45' MH & towing a Jeep. This park is conveniently located just 10 miles outside the entrance to Capitol Reef NP at the intersection of 24 & 12 easy in and out. Our first observation of this park and much to the delight of our little dog was the well maintained grass & sites. They have a mixed bag of level pull thrus, back ins, tent section, a few cabins and working WiFi
. Very nice spacious gravel roads which and easy to navigate Our second observation was that it's the cleanest RV Park we have ever been in. You can see that the owners Tracy & Wendy take great pride & effort in seeing to that, for that I give them a 5-Star Rating.
Tracy saw that we had a Jeep & kayaks and provided us with some off the beaten path locations to explore with both if we had the time and/or desire. After exploring C.R.N.P. for several days we did exactly that and was very pleased that we did. We visited the rarely seen Cathedral Valley section of C.R.N.P. with the Jeep and kayaked on the lower Bown's Reservoir.

Excellent stay

We stayed there one night on the way to Arches and I have to say we liked it a lot (better than KOA etc): very clean bathroom (all campers seem to make an effort), many sites with a grass patch and Wifi covers the full area and actually works when you need it (unlike just about all other parks we did this week in the Canuons area)

Absolutely beautiful park!
Clean restrooms and showers.
Wi-fi really works.
Well maintained grass.
It's obvious that the owners take pride in the cleanliness of their park.
If you're in the area, this is a perfect place to stay.

Very clean, quiet.

Nice campground with a great location. The owners obviously take pride in their place. The camp staff is constantly visible working around the place. They do obsessively water the grass, including between sites, so everything is wet. I would have given it five stars except for their were only two showers for the whole campground which resulted in lines.

Good Rest Stop, but. . .
By user-5903555... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-09-23 to 2016-09-24
This is a very nice park and run very efficiently. The sites are mostly level, gravel and clean. They have tree shade and full hook ups for about 33 RV's, three cabins, and four tent sites. The small restrooms are clean as well as the two shower rooms. The camp is very picturesque and well kept.
The two drawbacks to the park is it's location right on the corner of Hwy 12 and 24 and across the street from a Days Inn that is a favorite of bikers. All this leads to a LOT of highway noise.
The other drawback is having only one bathroom each for 42 spaces. That's just a little on the small side. Leads to lines for the facilities everyday.
We stopped by here for two nights while touring Capital Reef NP. This park is well situated for the park.

Great location and good park

Stayed 2016-10-01 to 2016-10-08
This is the kind of park that I generally like. It's not huge (only about 40 spaces) and the owners personally take care of things. The park is very well kept and has lots of grass and apple trees. The spaces are good sized and somewhat level. There's not a lot in Torrey, but the park is near most of it... plus it's easy access to Capitol Reef and UT-12 Highway down the Escalante.
WiFi was okay, bathrooms were clean and water pressure good. Unfortunately, the laundry room was temporarily closed due to problems with the septic system.

Wonderland, Wonderful
By user-4596359... on 2017-10-23.
Agree with other reviewers. Laundry is also immaculate and very inexpensive - $1.25 for wash and $1.00 for dryer.
We loved this campground and also hated to leave.

Overpriced for a bad shower
By user-6113392... on 2018-05-17.
There are a TON of places to camp for free, even as a big RV, in this area (BLM sites). We stayed here because our kids got sick and we wanted to settle down for a couple days while they recovered. The only real reason we stay in RV parks is for the shower. Paying 48 bucks a night we'd expect to get a decent shower. The facilities we're ok enough but there is a timer. And a timer obviously set by a man. God forbid you have long hair to wash and legs to shave. You have 7 minutes to get it done (in a low flow fixture). If you don't you'll have to stand there, cold, wet and naked, for 5 minutes before you can turn the water back on and wash the soap away. They say it's for water conservation but the whole grounds is covered in grass that is constantly being watered. I'd trade a patch of grass out front for a decent shower any day, especially when that is what im paying for and expecting at an RV park in the desert. Oddly enough that 5 minute wait gives you plenty of time to formulate a review.
The cows and horse next door are friendly

On our first ever RV roadtrip this was our 4th campsite and it was the best.
Very friendly helpfull staff. Beautiful showers. Very good and cheap laundry.
Close to the Capitol Reef park.
Had a great steak at the nearby Broken Spur Inn.
Surprised to get a discount as a ANWB member.

WIFI Terrible 2 Male/Female Showers
By user-4841500... on 2019-08-09.
Wonderland is in a beautiful small valley and close to the town of Torrey. There is NO Verizon Cell Service so I would guess cell service from any carrier is not good. This coupled with a WIFI that failed over and over and finally was totally worthless, made for a Mother s Day without contact from the children. The owners are very accommodating, but I doubt I would stay there again. Lots of parks around Torrey and BLM for those of us who like to sleep in the darkness.

Excellent Park
By user-5599253... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed for One Night...Should have stayed one more in visiting Capital Reef.
Great sites, level and well groomed. Easy hookups.
Bathroom/shower rooms were very spacious- two male, two female as noted by others. Showers on a 6 or 7 minute timer. Had to wait only 5 minutes for mine.
Also has a men's and women's bathrooms.
Owner is planning to modify the building to increase number of showers for 2020.
WiFi was adequate. No problem connecting cell phones.
Would stay here again on next visit to the area
