Not Happy

The front desk was great but they have a tree condition problem. They need to trim back the trees so big RV 's can get in & out without scratching the top & sides up. We told maintenance dept 3 times about this they did nothing . We called about holes in the lot we were at they did nothing again . When we left we scratched to sides of our RV. They did something then said you can call your insurance company & no we are sorry. Who wants that kind of remark or the deductible to pay for the repairs. So watch out for the trees. Also sites were not that level & tight a lot of noise from campers coming & going.

Great place to stay during a Yellowstone and Grand Teton stay. Perfect for an extended stay. Very quiet. Excellent camp sites. Pool is nice, clubhouse great. Small but adequate market on site. Friendly staff. I would definately come back for an extended stay again.

Good Campground but
By user-5867702... on 2017-10-23.
The campground is busy, lots of vehicle traffic with lots of folks walking and/or riding around. All the traffic creates copious amounts of heavy dust. The sites are very close together, they are really trying to get as many campers as possible in the space available. Makes it very crowded.
The camp store is well stocked, the laundry is very good, showers are clean although the shower stall I had to use (because of the volume of people) did not have a shower head. In fact because of the number of people you end up standing in line to use the facilities. My wife said privacy was limited in the womens.
There are plenty of activities to keep the young busy and a fenced dog run is available.
If not for the crowded conditions and horrible dust it could be a good campsite. KOA really should re-evaluate their rating of this campground. A much better choice if you can get in is Grizzly in West Yellowstone.
Paid $150 for 2 nights with full hookup.

Very Unhappy Campers
By user-5774364... on 2017-10-23.
We came to this KOA expecting quality accomodations. Very disappointed. For $80+/night you get electricity, water and sewer. Wifi is so slow that it is almost nonexistent which means if you use Photoshop CC, you can't download your photos. There is only cable in Deluxe spots which they don't tell you when you call for reservations. And spots are too wooded for satellite. And cell phone service is also nonexistent.
We will never stay here again.

A very well managed camp. No complains.

Stayed for few nights
By user-4817166... on 2018-03-14.
Stayed for a few nights. I agree lots of people in the camp. We were away during the day and came back to sleep at night. We did use the pool which was okay.
The sites for our bigger trailer were open and hot. But like I said we used it as a base camp not a destination.

Great Stay

We arrived early June the site was clean and level and the staff were super professional. We parked on the 100 loop that is close to the highway but the noise level was reasonable. It was not seeing the kids enjoying the great outdoors. Campared to the super small and crowded sites within yellowstone we were very happy with the KOA and will stay again.

Good Location for Yellowstone
By user-5779837... on 2019-08-09.

We had a site at the far back corner which was nice and quiet. However sites are a bit too close together. Location to Yellowstone park very good. The store was decently stocked. Laundry room clean with several machines. Indoor pool was fun and clean. Ladies bathrooms quickly become dirty following afternoon cleanse. The KOA staff don't patrol much. Neighbours were going to bed without putting fires out which is very irresponsible. Wood and ice available. Shop hours are great (open til 2200hrs). Recommend booking a site in the light blue zone which is away from the main road. A good option if you cannot camp in Yellowstone Park. This review was brought to you by The UpDownerz.

Located near Yellowstone's west gate..noisy road
By user-5835292... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-20 to 2018-09-23
After staying two nights near Cody, Wyoming, we realized that we needed to be on the west side of Yellowstone to be closer to most of the areas of the park. So, we found this KOA (our first stay at a KOA) and were pleased. The price was higher than what we are used to spending with nothing really extra to show for it. The heated indoor pool was empty and closed...we don't understand that. The highway runs right by the campground and if you're in the front part of the campground, you'll hear road noise all the time. Our kids enjoyed the playground. We enjoyed that the west gate to Yellowstone was just a few miles away. The town of West Yellowstone has a decent grocery store, but the restaurants were not well reviewed on Trip Advisor, so we didn't eat at any. The campground does have two dump stations, laundry, showers and propane available. The staff was friendly and we didn't have any problems with other campers' noise.

CLOSE
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Sites VERY CLOSE, CROWDED, CAN'T USE SATELLITE TO MANY OBSTACLES IN THE WAY AND VERY EXPENSIVE, NOT WORTH IT.

Good times but a little road noise.

We enjoyed the convenience to Yellowstone. The pool, hot tub and miniature golf, play ground were great for family. Dog park needs work but it worked for our dog. Laundry facilities were good and bathroom facilities were okay. Restaurant-picnic grilling dinner meal was good! Mosquitoes were over the top but Not their fault.

Very pricey but clean
By user-6675797... on 2019-08-09.
We traveled from Yellowstone and had to get the deluxe site. It was $130 for one night. Not worth that money
